ANNA SIMS - Director of Patient Services and Grant Management
Anna Sims joined the Pretty In Pink team in 2017 as Patient Resource Coordinator. Since that time she has become the central resource for all program services and has managed grant applications for hundreds of candidate Champions.
Managing the entire Champion experience from application to grant to satisfaction survey, she maintains relationships with all of the major medical systems in North Carolina from whom we receive referrals for Champion candidates.
Anna is the key interface with the Pretty In Pink board medical advisory committee, presenting candidate applications for approval of funding, ensuring each candidate presented meets Foundation criteria.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in public health and community health education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is a certified health education specialist (CHES) and a Master of Social Work.
